I have decided to change the day and time of the July eating to Sunday July 6, 2008 we will meet at Sheetz's on Main and Waterloo at 12:00 pm. and leave at 12:30 pm. and go to truck stop off 224 and meet up with Peggy D. and leave from there. We will be pulling into the BP gas station which is a right hand turn and leaving from BP and going right on 224 S which becomes 42 S then down to 250 and make a right hand turn and the restaurant is right there.

:. 03/13/2008  The new logo items are posted.  The calendar is posted.  Send any info you want to add to the calendar to our email address.  Don't forget that March is dues month.  National dues are $15 (due March 22) and chapter dues are $20 (due May 11).  Our treasurer will be at the March eating so you can give them to her in person, or send to our PO box.

:. 08/25/2007  We are currently planning our Christmas party.  I am working on posting menus from three restaurants for everyone to look over so we can make a decision at the September meeting.  We need to get this reserved before it's too late.

:. 08/01/2007  Our August meeting will be held at Nancy's house in Lordstown.  Please contact her directly if you need directions.  We will meet at Big Boy at Tallmadge Circle as close to 5 pm as possible and Sue will lead a group out.  Also, the Centurion is coming up on August 12th.  Sue plans to meet at J & J's Smokin' Cafe by 11 am and head over to the Tadmor together.  Please let her know if we should wait on you at J & J's.

:. 05/15/2007  This weekend is the Anniversary Ride.  We are leaving Friday from the Sheetz at Main and Waterloo.  Meet at 10:30 am.  Sue is leading this ride.  Call her if you have any questions.

:. 01/01/2007  We have added our first "Participating Dealer" to our advertisers.  Welcome to State8!  Since our web address has recently changed to www.akronwitw.com, I am updating our sponsorship forms and hope to have them posted in the next couple of days.  Please use the new forms with the updated information if you find a new sponsor.  I posted a copy of the MSF Guide to Group Riding HERE.  Thanks to Joy for providing that for us all to review.  I also posted photos from our Christmas party at Anthe's HERE.

:. 09/17/2006  The website has been converted over to our new web host.  I fixed a problem with the August meeting minutes and also posted the September minutes (thanks Jeanette).  I hope to have some 2006 Doe Run photos posted soon!  Also, another member has submitted a bio on the member bios page.

:. 07/12/2006  Posted photos from our eating at Smokin' Pepper Grille where we presented Randall with a certificate of appreciation for putting up with us last year.  Thanks to Randall and Nancy for hosting us!  The food is always fantastic!! 

I also posted my photos from Athens, GA.  The trip was great and Kathy does such a good job getting us all to our destination (and back) in one piece.  The scenic routes she took us on were great riding and we got to enjoy some really beautiful scenery.  Highlights of the trip included Monica's bike breaking down (multiple times on the way down -- thanks to Peggy's Greg for all the help), Paula stealing the Harley banners the last day of the conference (while the Harley employees watched and laughed), the sex toy bike, Peggy's new bike, demo rides, the Cherohala Skyway after dark, a nasty hotel room that smelled like death and prompted a snoring contest, the dragon at Deal's Gap, and a rainy interstate on the way home.  Click HERE for the photo gallery.
